It turns out Mid- Century isn’t dead yet, in fact it’s up 14% and here in Palm Springs that will always be a thing. Traditional and Classical styles are growing in popularity, thank you Shea McGee. Slipcovered sofas. Traditional patterns. Functionality. It’s time to get comfortable without sacrificing on style. Natural materials bring effortless texture into your space, giving your home a perfectly layered look. The move to lighter toned woods and natural materials are on the rise and we don’t mind! Bold wall colors and self expression is now a thing along with an 80’s revival. Sculptural furniture, bold colors, and plenty of drama. The 80s are back—but only the good parts. Many modern furniture lines have lent themselves to this 80’s vibe. Lastly, the new Grandmillennial style which is kind of like your grandma’s house but cooler is on the rise. More and more people are embracing “granny-chic” style—filled with antiques, wallpaper, and ruffles galore, a very romantic feel.
