The 7 Best Places To Shop For Rattan Furniture
Photo: West Elm
Rattan furniture has been around forever but it’s recently become the rage and some of it has a modern edge. It’s trendy and timeless and works in every home from modern to bohemian. It’s great indoors and out and it turns out there’s almost nothing this material can’t do.
Urban Outfitters
If you go out to the Urban Outfitters site and search “rattan” you’ll be surprised how many choices there are! From towel bars, sconces, and furniture. This daybed is gorg and would look great for lounging on your covered patio or a slim guest room option. You could quite literally furnish your whole home with rattan at Urban, they have so many options. Check it out here.

Anthropologie
This Plumage Indoor/Outdoor chair is beautiful. This is also a statement piece and doesn’t necessarily speak to everyone. She is definitely a Palm Springs vibe and can create a great Instagram moment. I personally adore her!

The Sankofa Stool is a gorgeous take on the classic garden stool and looks great indoors or out. This is great anywhere you might need a little table to rest your glass. I also like a garden stool in little vignette’s. I have one near my floor length mirror in our primary bedroom, styled with a plant and a Moroccan inspired chair nearby. Little corner, big mood.

Product Of The Week:
Popcorn Bowl
There are so many things to love about this BPA free popcorn maker so I’ll tell you my fave’s. First, it’s BPA free, it fully collapses to flat, so storing is super easy. You just add your popcorn and a splash of oil, I like coconut because it makes your popcorn taste soooo yum, and a dash of salt. Pop it in the microwave for approx. 2.5 minutes and you’re ready for toppings. I love some nutritional yeast and butter. When my kids were younger they loved it when I added some sugar and salt before popping because it tastes like kettle corn. Here’s a link to grab one for your family too!
Recipe Of The Week:
Fresh Rolls w/ Peanut Sauce
Ooooo so tasty and healthy to boot! I usually cut up extra veggies so you can make a fresh roll for lunch, it’s just as easy as a sandwich! I make my peanut sauce from scratch and it’s pretty easy but if you’re short on time you could grab a bottled one.
Assembly
There are two sizes of spring roll rice paper, small and large. The small are a little harder to fill but the large need to be filled full or you end up with some extra rice paper on the roll which doesn’t look appetizing to me. If I find it’s not full enough I trim the excess on the last wrap so it doesn’t look gummy.
Time To Eat
I love to plate food so it looks enticing to my guests! When you’re wrapping them make sure you are letting the colors show thru vs. wrapping it all in the lettuce as it hides the vibrant colors.
We love these and have been known to take this to Joshua Tree with a bottle of wine and sit on the roof of the Jeep in the middle of nowhere and watch the stars. Speaking of stars, Dave gives this one 5 ⭐️’s.
