The Citizenry

The Citizenry

Leather Square Morroccan Pouf

The pouf is everywhere these days and they come in all shapes and sizes. These are great to add interest or an extra foot rest. They also look great under a console table in a set of two or used as a coffee table also in a set. Check it out here.

Handmade Seagrass Bowls

Woven baskets are a trend right now that I won’t be mad at. I recently purchased a few and love the texture and interest they add to our bedroom. They are pretty versatile and would look great in most rooms. I love to hang them in sets. You can find yours here.

Genuine 100% Tibetan Mongolian Sheepskin Fur Throw Pillow

This is not just another fluffy pillow, a real Mongolian fur pillow will add interest and texture to your space and you won’t be sorry about it. I have a few knock off’s but my real one’s are show stoppers and add just the right amount of pizzazz! Get yours here.

Turkish Cotton Throw

Nothing beats a beautiful throw. A perfect mix of traditional style with a modern look. She has a wonderful herringbone pattern with a cream base and black stripes, and those tassels! These would also be great rolled up in a floor basket on the patio this summer or near the fire pit. Purchase yours here.

Paulownia Tray

You may have heard me rave about my Paulownia bowl and this tray is equally as beautiful. This would be lovely on a dresser, coffee table or on the entry table to coral keys and loose mail. Shop yours here.

Seagrass Woven Cushions

I love the look of theses seagrass cushions stacked in sets of two, once again the texture. They also offer great floor seating for game night or outdoor seating as well. Pick up a pair here.

Geometric Ceramic Vase

I love these handmade ceramic vases and their natural tones. They come in two sizes and would look great with dried flowers, eucalyptus, pampas or fresh flowers…. so basically everything looks great in these! If you need these in your life like I do buy them here.

Large Wicker Storage Basket

A good sturdy natural basket goes a long long way. Fill them with blankets, pillows or a large potted floor plant. Grab one here.

Bar Cart

I really vibe with a great bar cart. You can check out my blog post, “Art of the Bar Cart” here. Grab yours here and style it up!

Nuloom Chunky Jute Rug

I know I say texture ALL the time but honestly it’s just so good. I have this rug in the 5x7 size in my dining room and she’s a beauty. If you’re in need of a great rug you can find yours here.

Product of the Week: I have two for you this week!

Fresh Sends - Modern Flower Delivery

I recently had a birthday and my family got me all the good plants and cacti I could dream of. This is just one of the great gifts I received from my daughters. It came to the front door like deliveries do and right from the moment I picked it up it was screaming, “Aren’t I cute?” Gorgeous flowers, fun packaging and such a cute card. They are sold out for Mother’s Day but check them out here and show someone some love.

Herbivore Moisture Glow

My oldest daughter was here for my birthday, she may have left with my new KKW Beauty lipliner but she forgot her moisturizer and I am loving it! I hadn’t tried a facial oil yet and this leaves my skin soft and moisturized quickly and easily, plus I feel so chic adding this oil to my regime. Available here.

ARTICHOKES!

Aren’t they so pretty? I have always loved a good artichoke, even as a kid. My girlfriend was in the desert last week and offered to cook us dinner and she delighted us with her yummy steamed artichokes. So of course I had to make them again and they were so delish. Make yours with my printable recipe below!

Styling Tip:

Styling A Console Table

Styling a console can really be this simple. Start with an anchoring piece, in this instance a round mirror. Add balance on each side with matching lamps or a single lamp and a vase with some height, lastly accessorize, but keep it simple. So pretty and so easy. This is just one of many ways to style an entry way console!

Organizing Tip:

Organize Your Junk Drawer

We all have one or a version of one, and it’s crammed full of things we thought we needed but never go back to. Set your timer and get to it! 30 minutes and 1 drawer and you will be surprised how fast, easy and gratifying it can be, and it may even push you to do another! Pull everything out of the drawer, and wipe it clean. Now create piles of what stay and what goes. The goal is to have a pretty drawer that helps you locate things so be really selective when choosing what stays. I used bamboo dividers in mine but you can choose whatever you like. My junk section is only part of a larger drawer so I have cooking items and a small section of hardware and tools I use often, as well. Your junk drawer should only be junk from the kitchen, not the office and all the bedrooms, create a catch-all in each space and the junk will feel smaller.

As always I am thrilled you are here! xoxo
