If you LOVE the cloud sofa you can find the dupe here for the same look and vibe that is much friendlier to your bank balance.

RH Cloud Platform Bed vs. Ultra Soft Frame

Restoration Hardware’s Cloud line is the envy of all and the cloud platform bed is among that dream line, but my daughter just purchased this awesome dupe from Soft Frame Designs and its a good one!

Article vs. Overstock

There is no doubt about it, Article is killing it with all they do and this Arca outdoor chair is beautiful, but if budget is an issue you can find these dupes and they are two for the price of one at Article.

Halcyon Gild Tall Mirror vs. Selene Floor Mirror

The gilded mirror is gorgeous but a budget friendly version can be found at Urban Outfitters and I’m not sure but I’m pretty confident you’ll look the same in either selection!

Product Of The Week

Trader Joe’s Sparkling Watermelon Juice

Wow, I really enjoyed this one! These little guys are refreshing, the taste is not overpowering and it actually has some great flavor. I’ve found a lot of the hard seltzers lack any real taste. I tried mine over ice with a splash of Casamigos Tequila. They have a little bit more sugar than I’m used to, maybe that’s why it was so good! It’s 60 calories per can and 3tsp. of sugar. Definitely worth a try. Did I mention it’s HOT here? 🌵

Recipe Of The Week

Grilled Avocado With Pico Stuffing

I served this as a fresh summer side to my Lime Chicken Tacos and they did not disappoint. Mine could have been grilled slightly longer for a bit more charring but they tasted great and they are easy too. If you were in a pinch time wise you could always use packaged pico and skip making it fresh, but fresh wasn’t too time consuming and it was definitely worth the effort!

Tabelscape Tutorial

You don’t need much to throw together a great table-scape. You also don’t always need what you think you need. Think outside the box and get creative.

tablescape 1.JPG

I have a gauze table runner that I always have on my dining table, but there are so many fun options from fabric to macramé. Here I used two wooden cake stands from Target ( I don’t think there’s ever been a cake on them! ) I like the height they add to the center. If you don’t have fresh flowers look around the house or back patio and use some potted plants, I used some cacti from my patio and added in a few air plants. The copper water cups pull in the warmth from the terracotta and woods.

Have fun playing around with colors and textures. I used my parents vintage Crate and Barrel salad plates because they are older than me and it’s fun to use sentimental items, plus how cool were my parents shopping at Crate & Barrel in the late 60’s?

Organizing Tip:

Entry Way Storage & Organization

Whether you enter and leave from the garage, the mudroom or the front door here are a few tips to keep that space organized and helpful.

  1. Seasonal - Whether it’s coats and mittens or swim bags you need a system! Having a designated spot to collect these items will help everyone save time when heading out the door. Add hooks for hanging bags and jackets and baskets for hiding away mittens, etc.

  2. On The Go Essentials - Having an organized entry means you have a bowl or basket for keys, drop them in on your way in and they will be ready for your departure, no more “where are my keys?” moments! Consider adding a basket or bin for things that regularly go out the door such as returns or library books.

  3. Kid Zone - Make it easy for them, and for you by giving the kids hooks they can reach to hang up their own jackets and bags. Bins or baskets labelled with their names helps them learn to clean up after themselves.

  4. Entryway Extras - Keep a drawer or basket near the entryway with things you need last minute when rushing out the door. Like a lint brush, fabric shaver, stain remover, even a small sewing kit and breath mints.

Thank you for stopping by! Have a fabulous weekend! xoxo
